Army Golf Club started it’s journey on 28 May 2001. It was inaugurated by the then President of the Club and the Chief of Army Staff Lt Gen M Harun-Ar-Rashid. Total area of the Club is 58.11 acres. The Club is located inside Dhaka Cantonment surrounded by Hotel Radisson on the South, Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on the North and Nikunja on the East. The course is strategically challenging and playable round the year. Despite its central location, AGC has a country side feel to it. Initially, though the course was partly barren but subsequently all the holes were newly constructed.

It is located inside Dhaka Cantonment surrounded by Hotel Radisson on the south, Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on the north and Nikunja on the east. The complex contains Club House and Banquet Hall with other modern sub urban facilities. Members are commonly from defense and top corporate houses. The club is well known for its standard and services.
